Data residency
Egyptian users' data is stored in AWS Cairo region (PDPL compliant). Saudi users' data is stored in AWS Bahrain region (SAMA compliant). Data does not cross jurisdictions without explicit user consent.
What we collect
Account: email, phone, name, role. Profile: bio, portfolio URLs, rates, availability, verification documents. Usage: which pages you visit, briefs you post, applications you make, messages you send. Payment: last four digits + provider reference (never card numbers).
How we use it
To match you with relevant projects, to process payments, to prevent fraud, to send transactional notifications, and to improve the platform. We do not sell your data. Ever.
AI processing
Voice-to-brief audio is processed by our AI providers under a strict Data Processing Agreement. Audio is deleted after transcription unless you opt in to save.
WhatsApp Business
When you opt in to WhatsApp notifications, message metadata is stored with our WhatsApp Business Platform provider. Message content is not stored on Tarkeeba servers.
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, export, and objection to processing. Contact privacy@tarkeeba.com. Response within 30 days.
Retention
Active account data is kept for the life of the account. Closed accounts are anonymized within 90 days. Financial records are kept for 7 years per Egyptian and Saudi tax law.
